Developer API

Connect your systems to your booking data.

The Business API gives developers a tenant-scoped interface for bookings, customers, services, staff, locations, availability, payment status and reporting.

curl https://api.wethinkevents.com/v1/availability \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" \
  --get \
  --data-urlencode "service_id=42" \
  --data-urlencode "location_id=7" \
  --data-urlencode "starts_at=2026-11-02T09:00:00Z" \
  --data-urlencode "ends_at=2026-11-02T17:00:00Z"

API v1

A focused API for operational integrations

Use the same booking and availability rules as the WeThinkEvents application. Every request is isolated to the business linked to its token.

Bookings

Create, read, reschedule and cancel bookings.

Customers

Create, read and update customer records.

Availability

Query live slots by service, location and staff member.

Operations

Read services, staff, locations, payment status and report summaries.

1

Create a named token

A Business administrator opens API credentials from the dashboard account menu. Choose an optional expiry date and create separate credentials for each integration or environment. Any business administrator can rotate or revoke them.

2

Authorize requests

Send the token in the Authorization header using the Bearer scheme. Tokens are shown only when created.

3

Build from the specification

Use Swagger UI to try requests, or import the OpenAPI 3.1 JSON into your preferred API client or code generator.

Ready to start building?

Open the interactive reference, select Authorize, and enter a Business API token. The default limit is 60 requests per minute, and booking and customer lists use cursor pagination.
